Ciao, I’m Marta, a UK-based Italian artist and illustrator.

I grew up inside my family’s shop in northern Italy, surrounded by buttons, bright threads, and the particular beauty of useful things arranged with care.

 

I studied architecture in Switzerland, moved through Sweden, and eventually settled in Hackney, where I create playful, dreamy work.

I have a particular soft spot for old statuettes and toy collectibles.

I enjoy drawing and painting distorted spaces, and curious characters in movement, while my practice merges analogue and digital techniques through acrylics, oils, coloured pencils, riso printing, and animation.
